Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Nottingham Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant looking to support children in achieving their full potential?GSL Education are seeking a motivated KS2 TA to join a welcoming school in Nottingham starting September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in Key Stage 2, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities as a KS2 Teaching Assistant: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs.Support small groups or individual students to enhance their understanding of key concepts.Promote positive behaviour and encourage active participation in learning activities.Help prepare learning materials and maintain a well-organised classroom environment.Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure consistent pupil progress. Requirements for KS2 Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working with children, ideally within a KS2 setting.A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.A valid and enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
