Job title: Personal AssistantHours: 4 hours a week in term time, 8 hours a week in non-term time.Shifts: Weekends and School holidays; Occasional weekdays (can be discussed).Hourly rate: £15 per hourOutline of role: We are looking for a PA to help support our son in all daily activitieswhich will enable him to achieve maximum personal benefit from his everyday life. He is ahappy Eight-year-old boy who has Left-Hemiplegia (Cerebral Palsy), Autism and other medicalconditions.He is a sociable little boy who always has a smile on his face. He loves beingoutdoors, jumping in trampoline, watching his iPad and water-based activities. He also enjoysreading books and likes to make words out of his magnetic alphabets.General tasks - on a regular basis:1. Help with getting in and out of the car seat, highchair and bed.2. Help with dressing.3. Help with general personal cleaning (showering if required).4. Help with feeding pre-cooked meals.Social activities:Assisting him to participate in various social activities, as per the parent’s instructions, thismay include going to clubs, swimming, meeting friends, trips to the park, soft plays etc.This is not a list of everything as we may ask you to do similar sorts of tasks which are not listedabove.
