GSL Education are currently recruiting for a talented and dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to nurture artistic expression and critical thinking in students across Key Stages.Role Overview:As an Art Teacher, you will engage students in a range of artistic techniques and disciplines, encouraging exploration and innovation. You will help build their confidence and appreciation of visual arts while supporting academic achievement.Responsibilities as an Art Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that cater to diverse abilities.Promote creative thinking and visual literacy.Guide students through coursework and prepare them for GCSE or A-Level Art.Maintain a safe and inspiring learning environment.Assess and report on students’ progress in line with school policies. Requirements for Art Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.Specialism in Art or related creative subject.Previous experience teaching Art in a school setting is preferred.Excellent communication and classroom management skills.An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).A detailed CV covering the last 10 years, with gaps clearly explained.
