Whats on offer Competitive salary package Hybrid working for better work-life balance Onsite amenities: Free parking and an onsite canteen for convenience Generous leave: 25 days annual holiday allowance Enhanced family leave: Maternity, paternity, and adoption pay Benefits portal: Access to discounts, company perks, and wellbeing resources Wellbeing support: Employee wellbeing programme for mental and physical health Referral scheme: Earn up to £1,000 by referring a friend Fantastic working culture: A supportive environment with excellent work-life balance Recognition programmes: Long service awards and charity initiatives What You’ll Be Doing Lead and support a range of IT security projects, ensuring secure and timely delivery Manage and maintain cybersecurity tools for both on-prem and cloud environments (cloud being a key focus) Implement, configure, and update security solutions including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, and cloud security tools Collaborate with internal IT, development, and third-party teams to embed security across all operations Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and OSINT investigations Monitor emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and new CVEs, assessing their potential impact Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending improvements Deliver engaging security awareness training across the business Provide security guidance for new technologies and strategic initiatives Support day-to-day security operations and enforce strong change control processes Assist with SOC alerts, investigations, and escalations What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a Cyber Security Engineer or similar technical security role Strong understanding of network, infrastructure, and application security principles Practical experience with security tools and platforms, both on-prem and cloud-based Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response Hands-on experience configuring and managing cloud security tools and IAM solutions Knowledge of EDR platforms and vulnerability management processes Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, Azure Security Engineer) desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for non-technical audiences Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Interested?
