This is a remote position. London / Reading (Remote-friendly, meet the team once a month) Coders Connect is excited to be partnering with a fast-growing insurance company that’s on a mission to modernise their entire data landscape. They’re investing in their data strategy and expanding their team. This is your chance to be part of shaping that journey. As a Data Engineer; you’ll join a small, close-knit data team led by a highly experienced Head of Data, working on greenfield projects, building pipelines, and implementing modern solutions that will power business decisions across the organisation. What you’ll do: Build and maintain ETL solutions and data pipelines. Develop SQL stored procedures and work hands-on with SQL Server. Contribute to the implementation of a brand-new data strategy. Work on data warehouse solutions and dimensional modelling. Help the team transition away from legacy systems into modern cloud-based approaches. Requirements 2-3+ years’ experience in data engineering (or strong SQL development background). Strong SQL Server development skills and hands-on expertise. Solid understanding of data warehouses and dimensional modelling. Degree in Computer Science, Data, or a related field. Nice-to-haves: Azure Data Factory (ADF). Power BI, PowerShell, or Python.
