Job Title: Cloud Platform Manager Location: London (Hybrid Working, 2-3 days a week onsite) Type: Permanent Salary: up to £120k + Benefits Industry: Legal / Professional Services A prestigious UK-based legal firm is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Manager to lead and evolve its enterprise Microsoft Azure environment. This role sits at the heart of a forward-thinking technology team, driving platform resilience, AI enablement, integration, and automation across a global footprint. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on cloud leader with a passion for operational excellence, digital transformation, and stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Platform Strategy & Ownership Lead the strategic direction of the organisation's Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Define and implement a roadmap aligned with business goals and digital transformation objectives. Ensure cloud and on-prem environments are secure, scalable, and resilient. Leadership & Operational Excellence Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the team. Lead incident response and ensure platform stability, patch compliance, and vulnerability management. Provide strategic oversight of third-party providers to ensure service quality and value. Project & Engineering Oversight Lead internal and external engineering teams delivering on cloud initiatives and enhancements. Oversee the deployment and automation of infrastructure services, supporting innovation and business continuity. Collaborate with AI and Data teams to ensure the platform is ready for future technologies and workloads. Governance, Risk & Compliance Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks. Own cloud workload governance, security standards, and documentation excellence. Stakeholder Engagement Engage across departments to understand platform needs and enable digital tool adoption. Deliver platform performance reports and updates to senior stakeholders. Budgeting & Licensing Own and forecast the cloud infrastructure budget, including licensing and consumption optimisation. Work closely with finance and procurement for cost control and renewals. About You: Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience managing large-scale Microsoft Azure environments in a complex enterprise. Deep understanding of Windows Server, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender. Expertise in cloud security, compliance, DR planning, and performance monitoring. Strong vendor and budget management skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.
