SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Full-Time (Term-Time Only) Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? They are a welcoming and inclusive school looking for an enthusiastic and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll support pupils with a range of needs including autism and speech & language difficulties. You will become an integral part of this supportive and enthusiastic school and become imperative to helping support the children in your care. Requirements: Supporting pupils with a range of SEN in the classroom and one-to-oneImplementing individual education plans (IEPs)Supporting learning under the direction of the class teacher or SENCOAssisting with personal care (if applicable)Promoting inclusion and equal opportunitiesMonitoring and reporting on student progressManaging behaviour sensitively and effectively Desirable: SEN TA qualification or relevant training (e.g., Makaton, PECS) Contract: Fixed term, full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Mon-Fri, term time only) Salary: £90-£110 per dayAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
