SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Full-Time (Term-Time Only) Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are a welcoming and inclusive school looking for an enthusiastic and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll support pupils with a range of needs including autism and speech & language difficulties.About the schoolThis school in the heart of Croydon are looking to add a dynamic and skilled 1;1 Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children of various SEN Needs. The school has clear goals for fostering and developing children's needs throughout the school.Requirements: Supporting pupils with a range of SEN in the classroom and one-to-oneImplementing individual education plans (IEPs)Supporting learning under the direction of the class teacher or SENCOAssisting with personal care (if applicable)Promoting inclusion and equal opportunitiesMonitoring and reporting on student progressManaging behaviour sensitively and effectively Desirable: SEN TA qualification or relevant training (e.g., Makaton, PECS) Contract: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Mon-Fri, term time only) Salary: £90-£110 per dayWe are committed to safeguarding children.
