We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team across West London schools in Hillingdon, Ealing, Hounslow, Harrow, and Brent.As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with SEN students to support their learning, social development, and emotional well-being, helping them to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to SEN students in and out of the classroomAssist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activitiesSupport the development of students’ communication, social, and independence skillsMonitor student progress and report to teaching staff and SEN coordinatorsFoster a positive, inclusive learning environmentAssist with behavioural management strategies as needed
Candidate specification:
Experience working with SEN students in a secondary school settingStrong understanding of SEN needs and teaching strategiesPatience, empathy, and excellent communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamRelevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, NVQ, CACHE) are desirable but not essentialCommitment to supporting inclusion and diversity
All applicants must be willing to undergo vetting checks as part of the school’s commitment to Safeguarding and Anti-bullying. This will include:
Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)Two recent references (covering the past 24 months)Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 3+ months in the past 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
