Job DescriptionReport to the transport office at the start of shiftEnsure correct and thorough completion of paperworkObserve and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygieneMaintain a high standard of behaviour and appearanceEffectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport DirectiveAdhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all timesEnsure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedureMake deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all timesImmediately report any problems regarding delivery arrival times, delays or discrepancies with loadsEnsure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after deliveryEnsure regular communication with the Transport OfficeObserve and adhere to site procedures at each delivery pointEnsure correct completion of a defect report as and when requiredAny other duties as reasonably required
