Pastoral and Academic Support - Secondary School Full Time Kensington and Chelsea We're looking for a passionate and proactive Pastoral and Academic Leader (PAL) to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the heart of Chelsea. Whether you join on a term-time or full-year basis, your role will be central to shaping the wellbeing, behaviour, and progress of pupils. What You’ll Be DoingAs a PAL, you’ll be that consistent, steady presence students need. Your day-to-day will include:Leading on pupil behaviour, wellbeing and academic supportCollaborating with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure every student is safe, seen, and supportedPromoting positive behaviour and helping young people build self-belief and independenceWorking closely with the Assistant Head for Inclusion to deliver holistic student support You’ll thrive in this role if you:Have experience in pastoral, learning, or wellbeing supportKnow how to build trust with young people, staff, and familiesHave a confident, calm presence and excellent communication skillsWant to work in a setting that values development—for students and staff What You’ll GetA warm, inclusive team with a real sense of communityProfessional development and training that actually feels usefulThe chance to make a genuine difference in a school that values care as much as curriculumAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
