Job Opportunity: Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancing legal ExecutiveBrighton - East Sussex ( Hybrid working )Overview: We are working with an award-winning Legal 100 firm in the Brighton Office to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its dynamic and growing team.The Role The firm is seeking a proactive and client-focused Residential Property Solicitor to assist a Partner with a busy caseload of residential conveyancing work, primarily within the thriving retirement living sector. You’ll play a key role in handling both purchase and disposal transactions—often managing both sides for clients downsizing into retirement properties. The role demands excellent organisational and communication skills, as matters are often time-sensitive and fast paced.Key Responsibilities Manage your own caseload of non-contentious residential property matters under supervisionAdvise on the purchase and sale of residential properties, particularly in the retirement living marketSupport senior lawyers on more complex files as neededContribute to group meetings, technical training, and the ongoing development of best practiceEnsure compliance with risk management and AML regulationsMaintain accurate records using the firm’s case management and financial systemsMeet billing, time recording and financial targetsRepresent the firm in business development activities including seminars, newsletters and networking events Requirements Proven experience in residential conveyancingUnderstanding of relevant property legislation and landlord & tenant issuesConfidence managing client expectations and communicating technical legal information clearlyIT proficient with strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and time recording systemsTeam player with the ability to work collaboratively across departmentsExperience with retirement property transactions would be highly advantageous What’s On Offer?
