This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to advance their career in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Personal Tax Semi-Senior, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s personal tax clients while developing your expertise. Your responsibilities will include:Preparing personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, sole traders, and high-net-worth individuals.Assisting with the review of junior staff’s work, providing guidance and mentorship where necessary.Managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality service is delivered.Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and ensure compliance.Supporting tax planning initiatives and identifying opportunities for tax savings.Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge with the team.RequirementsPersonal Tax Semi-Senior AshfordTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:Experience working within a personal tax role in an accountancy practiceIdeally studying towards, or holding, ATT qualifications (Study support can be provided)Strong technical knowledge of personal tax complianceExcellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleaguesStrong organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyA proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detailBenefitsThis accountancy practice values its team members and offers a range of benefits, including:Competitive salary, dependent on experienceFull study support for ATT/CTA/ ACA or ACCA qualifications, including study leave and exam feesA supportive and friendly working environment with opportunities for career progressionFlexible working arrangements to promote work-life balanceRegular training and professional development opportunitiesCompetitive holiday, pension and bonus schemePlease contact Luke Harrison for more information01227 533 007luke@tpfrecruitment.com
