Class 2 HGV Driver - £14.00 per hour - Darwen (Ad-hoc Work) We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Darwen. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible shifts and non-permanent work. Location: Darwen Working Hours: Ad-hoc daytime shifts (start times may vary) Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Type of Work: General haulage and palletised deliveries The Role Driving Class 2 vehicles for general haulage and palletised deliveries Ensuring goods are loaded safely and delivered on time Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Completing paperwork accurately and complying with driving regulations Requirements Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach What We Offer £14.00 per hour, paid weekly Flexible ad-hoc shifts covering holidays and sickness (not a permanent role) Daytime work with a respected client in the Darwen area Modern vehicles and a supportive transport team
