M&E Project Manager – Hard FM Provider – City of London – Up to £70KDo you live in or around London?Do you have a background in facilities-based project management?If the answer is yes to the above, please read on...One of the UK's most established maintenance service providers is currently looking for a M&E Project Manager to join their team to work on a prestigious portfolio of sites across the City of London.The M&E Project Manager will initially be looking after projects, including plant replacements, refurbishments, and installations. The value of the projects will grow over the course of the next year and could rise to around the £2m mark.The role will involve working closely with, and supported by, the existing engineering team and will be expected to manage the projects from start to finish.Key Responsibilities:Scope projectsDevelop and apply appropriate specificationsPrepare programsIdentify and assess contractorsRecommend contractors for appointmentChair project meetingsLiaise with the contract managersPlan delivery to minimise impact on day-to-day operationsManage team resourcesDeliver projects on time, within quality and budget parametersEnsure project complianceManage and control project costThe Ideal Candidate Will:Be fully electrically or mechanically qualified to a recognised levelHave a strong technical understanding of building services engineering systemsDemonstrate excellent project management skillsHave previous experience working on projects involving plant replacementsHave experience within the commercial, built environmentHave experience managing engineering projects in a similar environmentBe confident in managing progress reports, people, and stakeholder expectationsPossess strong communication, influencing, and planning skillsHave proven experience working on engineering refurbishment projects and managing complex technical constructions in a live environmentBe fully acquainted with the requirements of the CDM Regulations to ensure all projects are always compliant with Health & Safety legislationPlease send your CV to Katie at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information.
