Job Title: Quantitative Developer - Systematic EquitiesLocation: Open A newly formed quantitative trading pod is seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Quantitative Developer to lead the buildout of its core trading infrastructure. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of technology, research, and trading, offering the opportunity to shape systems from the ground up and work directly with experienced quant researchers and a senior portfolio manager. Key Responsibilities: Architect and scale trading systems for data ingestion, signal generation, backtesting, execution, and risk management. Collaborate with researchers to translate strategy ideas into production-ready code. Lead and mentor a small team of developers and quant engineers. Optimise execution systems and ensure robust data pipelines. Oversee deployment, monitoring, and system reliability. Requirements: 3+ years building high-performance trading systems, ideally in systematic equities. Strong coding skills in C++ or C#, with Python for research integration. Deep understanding of algorithms, databases, and distributed systems. Experience with market data handling, exchange connectivity, and real-time systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
