As a Barback, you will play a vital role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates efficiently. You will help maintain the flow of service and ensure that all preparation tasks are completed to provide our guests with an exceptional experience.What You’ll Do Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and maintaining an efficient workflow during service hours. Keep the bar stocked with fresh ingredients, supplies, and clean glassware. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including regular cleaning duties. Support the bar team with inventory management and stock rotation. Engage positively with guests, providing excellent customer service when needed. Requirements Experience in a bar or restaurant environment, preferably in a barback or support role (approx. 1 year). Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry items as needed. Legal right to work in the UK and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Benefits Competitive Pay & Earning Potential £14.00 – £15.00 per hour typical take-home pay, including a discretionary share of the service charge (tronc). £32,760 – £35,100 indicative annual earnings (based on a 45-hour week). Hours & rota: full‑time, 5 days over 7 including evenings and weekends; rotas shared in advance. Holiday: 28 days per year including public holidays (pro rata).
