Youth Worker to Teaching Assistant - October 2025 Starts! About the Role: Job Title: Youth Worker / Trainee Teaching AssistantLocation: Nailsea, Backwell, Yatton, Clevedon, PortisheadStart Date: October 2025Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30)Pay: £89 - £100 per day (PAYE, negotiable based on experience)Age Group: KS1 - KS4You will work alongside teachers and other professionals to support students who need academic guidance, emotional regulation, and a trusted adult in their day-to-day school life. You do not need school-based experience - just a genuine interest and passion for helping young people. What You'll Be Doing: Supporting students with Special Educational NeedsHelping with classwork and creating a safe learning spaceEncouraging positive routines, confidence and independenceBeing a mentor, role model and consistent presenceFull training provided - no teaching qualifications required!
