Job Description Civils Estimator Ballymena DescriptionWe are hiring for our client, a well-established civil engineering business, seeking an experienced Civils Estimator to join their busy Ballymena team. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with a talented estimating department, providing accurate construction cost estimates and helping secure projects across the civil engineering market. The Civils Estimator will play a key part in tender planning, negotiation and award, driving company success and achieving monthly KPIs. Complete and submit accurate tender documentation to tight deadlines. Interpret drawings, Bills of Quantities and engineering information for precise costings. Negotiate and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients and contractors. Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders meet budget, programme and quality standards. Attend client meetings and resolve technical queries when required. The Person Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction, or equivalent experience. Proven estimating background within the civils sector. Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related IT packages. Flexibility to attend trade shows and client visits as needed.
