We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage a number of works packages across various disciplines, from tender to final account stage.These packages may include (but are not limited to): LogisticsFirestoppingDry LiningCivils & GroundworksArchitectural MetalworkBuilders’ Works in ConnectionTraffic Management The role will cover procurement, ITT analysis, contract drafting, contract administration, applications for payment, site record reviews, supplier audits, change management, and budget control. Key Responsibilities Manage and issue accurate, timely, and compliant notices and correspondence both upstream and downstream.Identify contractual and commercial risks and opportunities for the Contract Leader.Prepare and agree applications for payment, and assess/prepare payment certificates.Maintain registers of variations, delays, extensions of time, and claims.Ensure consistent implementation of company commercial policies and procedures.Assist with preparation of monthly progress valuations and claims.Liaise with customers’ commercial and project teams.Produce tender negotiation reports, monthly cost reports, forecasts, and support Contract Leader reports.Advise on value management and risk management.Prepare supply chain enquiries, negotiate, administer, and close out supply chain contracts.Plan and implement change management and cost control measures both up and downstream.Monitor and update supply chain procurement plans, including benchmarking.Work closely with site teams, supply chain partners, and customer representatives.Manage and administer subcontracts.Provide contractual advice to project/site teams when required.Maintain awareness of current construction contracts.Ensure health, safety, and environmental risks are identified and reported. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary meetings.Strong financial and contractual knowledge.CEMAR user experience (preferred).Skilled in data analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.Proven contract administration skills.Experience as a single point of contact for supplier performance. Qualifications Degree level qualification Experience in construction and/or engineering.Chartered, or working towards a recognised professional chartership.
