Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Worthing Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Long-Term/PermanentAre you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next exciting opportunity? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join a welcoming primary school in Worthing, supporting teaching and learning across the Early Years and Key Stages.Key Responsibilities: Deliver whole-class cover, small group work, and 1:1 support under the direction of the class teacher.Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.Provide targeted interventions to raise attainment and support SEND pupils.Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to assessments. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience.Have proven experience supporting learning across primary year groups.Be confident leading groups and whole-class teaching.Demonstrate excellent communication and behaviour management skills.Show commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of pupils.
