Support workers- FULL-TIME- 42 hours per week West Yorkshire area Locations are:· Normanton· Castleford· Wakefield· Crigglestone· Wrenthorpe· Wakefield Central· Alverthorpe · Rotwhell Our Community Services are looking for Support Workers to help our young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours that may challenge to live as independently as possible. We have a number of locations where we provide care and support to people in their own homes or tenancies in solo and shared living arrangementsPlease note we are only taking full-time support workers with experience in a similar role in the UK for at least 6 months No sponsorship provided! The shifts will be from Monday- SundayWEEK 1- Monday Tuesday Saturday SundayWEEK 2 -Wednesday Thursday FridayDays 8am-8pmWaking Nights 8pm-8amPay rate is £12.42 an hour / overtime £12.8242 hours per week contract A support worker is a professional who is responsible for the wellbeing of people living with different physical abilities and mental health needs. Their role is to support clients to live their lives more independently and support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support. As each person has unique needs, the roles and responsibilities of a support worker can vary significantly. Day to day role of a Support Worker:▪ Supporting with meals and drinks, and to help them to get excited aboutbeing involved in cooking and baking!▪ Helping with their personal care, including bathing and showering, so theylook and feel great.▪ Engaging in meaningful activities both at home and out in the community -▪ Building a relationship with the adults and their families, so that you canprovide truly person-centred, individualised care.
