Financial Controller | Iconic London Arts Institution | London | 12 Month FTC Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with one the most highly respected, well known and visited not for profits, centred within the performing arts / creative space in London. This is in the search for a Financial Controller to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis (with a high likelihood to extend). The Client: We are representing one of the world's most celebrated creative not for profits, based in the heart of London. Recognised internationally for its world class venue and event services, artistic excellence, bold programming, and global reach, this institution has been a cornerstone of the UK's cultural landscape for over a century. With an ambitious vision for the future, it continues to innovate both on stage and beyond through international tours, pioneering digital initiatives, and collaborations with leading artists across genres. The Role: Reporting into a fantastic, values led CFO who places a huge emphasis on collaborative work, as well as promoting a culture of inclusivity, progression and development, this role will have a range of controllership responsibilities, while also line managing 3 junior reports. There is a degree of change ongoing within the business and finance function currently, with a huge amount of opportunity for autonomy and ownership on offer this candidate. The nature of the role will be fast paced and will require candidates to possess high energy and a can do attitude, comfortable with rolling up the sleeves and managing / working towards deadlines. Main duties will include: Oversee year end and audit process, acting as main point of contact during throughout Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Support with various change projects to support CFO Take responsibility for month end and production of management accounts Produce fortnightly cash flow Line manage 3 junior line reports Review line reports work including reviewing payment runs Ad hoc support for wider finance function What we need to see (essential): Fully qualified (ICAS / ICAEW / ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Experienced with audit What we need to see (bonus): Charity / performing arts / creative industry background Salary: up to £80k Location: Central London Start Date: ASAP If of interest, please feel free to get in touch with Matt Horsfall on At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
