SEND Teacher - MaidstoneAre you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? We’re working in partnership with a fantastic all-through school in Maidstone that is seeking a dedicated educator to support a small group of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a full teaching role with planning and responsibilities included, starting ASAP with the potential to go permanent.Contract: Long term to permanent, Starting ASAPSalary: £168.80 - £232.57 per dayKey Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of SEND pupilsTake full responsibility for planning, assessment, and classroom managementCreate a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environmentWork collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and familiesTrack progress and adapt strategies to meet individual learning goalsContribute to EHCP reviews and liaise with external agencies when requiredFoster emotional wellbeing and social development alongside academic growth Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ideally Primary trainedProven experience working with children with a range of SENDExperience supporting pupils with Down’s Syndrome is desirable but not essentialStrong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies and EHCPsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to teaching Why Join Us?
