Food Technician (Full-Time)Hours: 8:15 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to FridayLocation: Westminster Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning and enjoy working in a practical, hands-on environment? This Academy is seeking a dedicated Food Technician with Learning Support Assistant (LSA) experience to join our team.In this varied role, you will: Prepare and measure ingredients for food lessons. Support classroom health & safety, ensuring a safe and well-organised learning environment. Provide technical and practical support to teachers and students in food technology classes. Assist students during practical sessions, offering LSA-style support to enhance learning. Maintain equipment, resources, and hygiene standards in line with school policies. About You Previous experience as a LSA or support assistant / Food Technician or in a similar support role (desirable). Background in a secondary school setting. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. An understanding of health & safety requirements in a food technology environment. A positive, supportive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
