GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming school community in Christchurch, starting immediately.About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and development. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, tailored to individual learning needs.Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities.Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, respectful learning environment.Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver effective support strategies. Requirements Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable.A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Understanding of classroom management strategies. To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should: Have the right to work in the UK.Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
