Job Title: Drama Teacher Location: Chapeltown (S35) Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher passionate about inspiring students through performance and the arts?GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school in Chapeltown (S35). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging pupils to develop confidence, communication skills, and a love for drama.Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher: Plan and deliver imaginative Drama lessons that nurture creativity and self-expression.Teach a range of dramatic techniques, performance skills, and stagecraft.Prepare students for practical and written assessments.Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel confident to perform.Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and reflective learning.Contribute to school productions, workshops, and enrichment activities. Requirements for Drama Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.Strong subject knowledge in Drama and Performing Arts is desirable.Excellent classroom management and communication skills.Passion for engaging students and promoting the arts.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
