CNC Sliding HeadHours: 6am to 2pm / Monday to FridayLocation: KingswinfordSalary: £30,000 to £36,000 per annumMust have the full rights to work within the UK (No sponsorship offered)We’re currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a skilled precision engineering team. The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC Star Sliding Head machines to produce high-quality components used in critical applications.What you’ll be doing: Programming, setting, and operating CNC Sliding Head (Star machines with Fanuc controls)Producing high-integrity components to tight tolerancesWorking from technical drawings, ensuring quality and accuracy throughoutConducting first-off and in-process inspections using appropriate measuring equipmentPerforming routine machine maintenance and keeping the work area clean and safeCollaborating with the production and quality teams to meet deadlines and optimise output What we’re looking for: Proven experience in a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator role (ideally in a high-integrity or precision environment)Strong knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc)Proven experience working on Sliding head machines (Star machines)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerancesGood understanding of inspection and measurement techniquesPositive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently What next? .
