Lead .NET Developer | Legacy to Modern | C#, AWS, SQL | SaaS DataA fast-growing SaaS business is investing heavily in its tech platform and building out a senior engineering hub in London. They’re on the lookout for a .NET Specialist to help drive modernisation, set technical direction, and mentor squads as they scale.This isn’t a “heads down coding only” role; you’ll be a technical authority across product lines, shaping architecture, leading migrations away from legacy frameworks, and ensuring the platform is stable, scalable, and fit for the future. Expect to spend plenty of time coding, alongside leading migrations and mentoring engineers.What you’ll be doing:Own design + build of complex apps with C# and .NET Core/FrameworkLead migrations from Web Forms/ASMX to modern stacks (.NET Core, MVC, REST APIs)Influence the technical roadmap across multiple squadsPartner with QA, Product, and DevOps to deliver reliable features in agile sprintsImplement and fine-tune CI/CD (TeamCity, Octopus)Manage deployments across IIS + AWSMentor developers through code reviews and architectural guidanceOptimise SQL/T-SQL performance for production systemsWhat we’re looking for:Strong background in C# and modern .NET CoreComfortable balancing legacy upkeep with platform modernisationConfident with IIS, AWS, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, SQL ServerBonus points for exposure to Angular or Telerik librariesExperience in a senior/lead dev role, ideally in SaaS or product-led teamsSomeone who enjoys mentoring, influencing direction, and staying hands-onLocation & working styleHybrid London role, expect 1–2 days a week in the office with squads that value autonomy, collaboration, and building things that last.Lead .NET Developer | Legacy to Modern | C#, AWS, SQL | SaaS Data
