Job Title: English and Maths SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, BasildonJob Type: Temporary, Part-TimePrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £25 - £30 Per hourJob Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting (learners homes or local libraries)Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilitiesDeliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic progressAssess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordinglyCollaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students' educational goals are met Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SENExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 3 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SENProven track record of improving student outcomes Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN principles and best practises in educationAbility to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of studentsStrong organisational skills and attention to detail Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible scheduleWork primarily in an outreach setting, travelling to students' homes or community centresCollaborative work with teachers, parents, and support staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
