Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – CoventryAPT Education is looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a forward-thinking primary school setting in Coventry. The Role Location: Coventry (local primary schools) Start Date: Immediate and/or after October Half Term Contract Type: Full-time, long-term placements Competitive daily rate, paid weekly Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needsDeliver 1:1 and small group interventions under the guidance of class teachers and SENCOsCreate a safe, emotionally intelligent learning spaceSupport EHCP targets and contribute to progress reviews ✅ What We’re Looking For Minimum 12 months’ experience in a UK primary school SEN support roleStrong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practiceEnhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)Confident communication and behaviour management skills Why Work With APT Education?
