A rewarding opportunity awaits you in Sheffield, where GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community.Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with SENCreate and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and familiesFoster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environmentMonitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as neededCollaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to support holistic development Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in SENA patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teachingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionalsA strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teacher, you should: Have the right to work in the UKHave an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 yearsHave a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.As an ethical, inclusive and independent recruitment agency, GSL Education are committed to providing quality teaching and support staff in schools across the UK.Interested?
