Drama and Performing Arts Teacher Location: Nottingham Salary: £130 – £251+ per day (Depending on Experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-time / Part-timeAre you a creative and passionate Drama and Performing Arts Teacher eager to inspire students through the power of performance? GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Drama and Performing Arts Teacher to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across schools in Nottingham.As a Drama and Performing Arts Teacher, you will encourage students to explore their creativity, develop confidence, and build communication skills through drama and performance. From stagecraft and acting techniques to exploring scripts and devising original pieces, you will create a positive and inspiring learning environment that helps students shine both on and off the stage.Drama and Performing Arts Teacher Responsibilities Plan and deliver exciting lessons in Drama and Performing Arts, aligned with the curriculum.Inspire students to develop performance, teamwork, and creative expression.Organise and support school productions, showcases, or performances.Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent qualification.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.Previous teaching experience in Drama or Performing Arts is desirable.Strong knowledge of performance techniques and creative teaching strategies.A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
