You’ll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client. This is a part-time role offering 16 hours per week. While flexibility is essential to accommodate the client’s changing needs, shifts will typically be scheduled over two days per week, with working hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Your role will be to empower her to continue doing what she loves while providing the support she needs to thrive day to day.Because her condition can be unpredictable, flexibility is key. Responsibilities may include personal care, medication administration, moving and handling (including hoist use), and general household tasks. You’ll also help care for her beloved cat, Clive—so animal lovers are especially welcome.If you’re someone who brings warmth, reliability, and a genuine desire to support others, we’d love to hear from you. Training & SupportWe provide comprehensive, paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering:Full inductionSafeguarding Adults First Aid / Food Hygiene / Health & SafetyMedication Administering / Personal care.Moving & Handling with HoistsNeurological disorders / EpilepsyAll training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at minimum wage. Who We’re Looking For This position is female-only, in accordance with The Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 Part 1 Driver will a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle with business insurance (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience and knowledge of seizures is essential.
