SEN Teaching Assistant – Early Years Location: SP6 Area Start Date: ASAP Employer: Teaching Personnel (working in partnership with a local primary school)Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming, supportive school in the SP6 area, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developing effective communication techniques in a nurturing environment.The Role Supporting pupils in Early Years with additional needs, particularly around ASD and speech/communication.Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.Using specialist strategies and resources to promote engagement, independence, and progress.Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
