Role Overview As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support pupils with additional learning needs. Your role will include: Supporting children with SEN to engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning targets. Assisting with tailored learning activities, both one-to-one and in small groups. Encouraging pupils’ social skills, confidence, and independence. Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. Who we’re looking for: Experience working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential—full training can be provided. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work term-time hours. A genuine commitment to supporting children’s development and well-being.
