Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, ThorntonJob Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £13.75 - £15.00 Per hourJob Duties: Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activitiesAssisting with the implementation of individual education plansProviding support to students with special educational needsHelping to create a positive and inclusive learning environmentSupervising students during lessons and breaksAssisting with administrative tasks as required Required Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)Enhanced DBS checkFirst Aid certification (desirable) Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsLevel 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)Experience: Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school settingKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Safeguarding ChildrenTraining in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder Working Conditions: This role involves working within a school environment, supporting students and teachers during school hours.
