We are seeking a dynamic Finance & Commercial Head to lead financial strategy, business planning, and commercial operations for the region. This role will drive profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth through strong leadership, financial discipline, and close business partnering. Key Responsibilities: Finance & Commercial Ensure and manage profitability of the business unit. Identify areas of financial or operational risk and advise management accordingly. Recommend effective allocation and use of resources to the management committee. Negotiate with business associates and distributors on financial matters. Conduct quarterly customer account reconciliations and balance confirmations. Implement cost control and profit improvement initiatives. Process claims and maintain pricing structures. Budget & MIS Prepare, present, and control the annual budget. Monitor business performance against budget and recommend timely course corrections. Participate in pricing decisions to protect margins and calculate distributor ROI. Create and monitor secondary sales and stock MIS for each customer and SKU. Compliance & Risk Ensure proper maintenance of company records according to local accounting standards, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal SOPs. Advise management on risk mitigation measures. Supply Chain Coordination Ensure timely availability of finished products according to sales plans. Coordinate with regional supply chain teams to meet order requirements. Liaise with planning and production teams to meet dispatch schedules and documentation requirements. Audits & Other Responsibilities Ensure compliance for internal, external, and process audits. Review audit reports and implement corrective actions. Liaise with tax authorities and manage credit control, collections, and tax compliance. Oversee payroll processing and filing of payroll tax returns. Lead the launch of new systems and processes where required. Must Have Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in FMCG business finance, commercial finance, or FP&A roles. Proven experience in business partnering with commercial and operational teams. Strong understanding of P&L management, financial modelling, and data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Exposure to UK accounting standards, tax, and compliance is preferred.
