Job DescriptionOVERVIEWThe News Desk Producer is an important member of the London newsroom and TV production team. You will work on the team that is the hub for information and newsgathering for the London newsroom and for its two daily news programmes, Squawk Box and Europe Early Edition.Strong candidates will include those with the relevant experience and skill sets:A passion for current affairs and broadcast news in particularA proficient knowledge of business and economics, with a strong sense of the key news makers and market moversA proven track record of securing – and producing - high-profile guest interviews and/or outside broadcastsPitching and producing stories for use across news platforms, including online and social mediaYou will report into the Head of News Desk & Guest Bookings for EMEA.Information about the shows can be understood here.SQUAWK BOX During three hours of unscripted and dynamic debate, CNBC’s flagship show leads you into and delivers the open of the European equity markets.
