We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Munich, GermanyWe are a fast-paced organization transforming into a global leader. As Procurement Manager – Fruit Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sourcing strategy, developing supplier partnerships, and driving both tactical and strategic procurement excellence.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic sourcing plans for fruit categories.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across our global supply base.Manage all supplier communication, including claims, order fulfillment, and performance.Conduct tactical sourcing, ensuring accurate ordering through stock evaluation.Negotiate and monitor prices and contracts to deliver value.Drive supplier development initiatives and continuous improvement.Analyze market trends, forecast changes, and provide insights to guide decisions.Work closely with the European Procurement team and cross-functional stakeholders.RequirementsEssentialSolid experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally in food, agriculture, or FMCG.Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.Hands-on experience in tactical procurement (ordering, claims, stock management).Analytical skills with the ability to anticipate market shifts.Desirable Previous experience working with Avocados would be great Fluency in other languages (German, Dutch, French etc) is highly beneficial Benefits30 days of vacation Professional development opportunities within the company Membership in a premium fitness center for a small fee Office at the Munich wholesale market near the Isar River Free parking Fresh fruit and specialty coffeesWe’re an equal opportunity employer.
