This is a temporary position to cover an early retirement, bridging the gap while we appoint a permanent teacher — and that could be you! Teaching Responsibilities: As our Year 5 teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the full Key Stage 2 curriculumFoster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supportedAssess pupil progress regularly and use data to inform teaching and interventionsWork collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school priorities and share best practiceContribute to the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of pupils in line with our Catholic ethosCommunicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeingTake part in school events, trips, and enrichment activities that make learning memorable and fun We’re looking for someone who: Brings energy, creativity, and a love of learning to the classroomHas high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusive educationCan inspire and support children to achieve their bestIs ready to be part of a supportive, faith-based school community Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: January 2026 (with potential to apply for the permanent role) Salary: MPS/UPS depending on experienceWhether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT ready to make your mark, we’d love to hear from you.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
