What You’ll DoNo two days are the same! As a Children’s Support Worker, you’ll:Provide trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supportedBuild positive, trusting relationshipsEncourage healthy routines and life skillsSupport education, prepare meals, and accompany children to appointmentsChampion their voice — making sure they’re heard and valuedDrive young people to activities or appointments using your own vehicleHelp them move forward with confidence and hope What We’re Looking For✔ Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary) ✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a car ✔ Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience ✔ Flexibility for varied shifts (including weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights) ✔ A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential — full training provided. What You’ll Get Competitive pay: £17.50 – £28.00 per hour (depending on shift type) Comprehensive training: 21 online modules + in-person courses in safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and positive behaviour support, PACE training too!
