Opportunities for reward and recognition, including annual awards. Your Responsibilities as an HGV Mechanic You will be responsible for maintaining heavy goods vehicles to a high standard. This ensures the fleet stays safe and operational for our clients in Grantham. Carry out major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles. Perform routine inspection and general preventive maintenance. Diagnose faults and plan repairs alongside the workshop team. Provide breakdown and repair services to clients on the road when needed. Maintain accurate records and paperwork, including processing warranty claims. Manage workshop inventory and keep the work area clean. Role Requirements To be successful as this Technician in this HGV position, you must have: A Level 3 Qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, or IMI) in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance. Proven experience working on HGVs. The ability to identify faulty components according to DVSA Standards. A current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
