CNC Setter/Operator (Milling) Wolverhampton | Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 | £13.64 per hour Representing Our Leading Engineering Client - The Best Connection Are you an experienced CNC Setter/Operator looking for your next opportunity in precision manufacturing? The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing and respected engineering client based in Wolverhampton, who is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setter/Operator to join their production team. The Role - What You'll Be Doing As a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling), you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications. Your key duties will include: Setting and operating CNC milling machines accurately and efficiently Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions Ensuring correct tooling and fixtures are used for each job Monitoring quality throughout production, making minor offsets/adjustments as needed Identifying opportunities to improve cycle times and reduce waste Ensuring all products are processed safely, with care taken to avoid damage or health hazards Maintaining accurate stock and production records using a computer-based system Supporting other team members and apprentices when needed Promoting and adhering to health & safety, quality, and lean manufacturing practices What We're Looking For Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator - Milling essential Confident in reading technical drawings and using measuring equipment Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain high standards Experience with computer-based stock/production systems desirable A proactive approach to continuous improvement and teamwork The Offer Wolverhampton-based role Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 £13.64 per hour - paid weekly via The Best Connection Clean, well-maintained working environment Ongoing, full-time position with opportunities to grow Join a Company That Invests in Precision and People If you're looking for a stable, long-term role with a company that values quality craftsmanship and employee development, this is your opportunity.
