Specialist Advisory Teacher - Cognition and Learning (SEND) Location: Redbridge Contract: Full-time Long term Supply Placement Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Pay: MPS6 - UPS 3 Outer London £258 - £288 (based upon experience) SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a skilled and flexible Specialist Advisory Teacher to join a dynamic team supporting children and young people with cognition and learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by working collaboratively with schools, families, and professionals to promote inclusive practices and improve outcomes for learners with SEND across the London Borough of Redbridge. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist advice, guidance, and training to school staff on effective strategies for supporting pupils with cognition and learning difficulties. Conduct assessments and contribute to the planning and delivery of targeted interventions. Support the development of inclusive teaching approaches and ensure equitable access to the curriculum. Work in partnership with families and schools to build understanding and confidence in supporting children's learning. Contribute to the strategic aims and wider goals of the service. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in SEND, particularly within cognition and learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across settings. A genuine commitment to inclusion, equity, and collaborative practice.
