We are currently recruiting a Security Officer to work full-time, Monday to Friday, at a site in Wood Green. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and the general public. This position requires strong attention to detail, a professional attitude, and excellent communication skills.Location: Wood Green, LondonHours: 35 hours per weekShift timings: 0700-1430 or 1430-2200Salary: £12.50Start Date: Immediate start availableKey Responsibilities:Provide a visible and reassuring security presence on siteConduct regular patrols of the premises, including all access points and public areasMonitor CCTV systems and respond to suspicious activity or incidentsControl site access, check ID, and manage visitor sign-in proceduresRespond to emergencies, alarms, or incidents calmly and effectivelyLiaise with management and contractors as neededMaintain clear and accurate records, including daily activity reports and incident logsRequirements:Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) – essentialPrevious experience in a static or site-based security role – preferredExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong observational skills and attention to detailSmart appearance and professional attitudeMust be reliable, punctual, and eligible to work in the UKBenefits:Regular weekday scheduleUniform providedFull training and site inductionCompany Pension
