The right person will be patient, hands-on, and genuinely committed to helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom. What You’ll Be Doing Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with physical and complex needsAssisting with personal care, feeding, and mobility (full guidance and PPE provided)Helping to create a safe, calm, and positive learning environmentWorking closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staffEncouraging communication, independence, and self-confidence What We’re Looking For Experience in SEND support, Health & Social Care, or childcare settingsConfidence providing personal care (toileting, changing, or feeding)Empathy, patience, and a positive attitudeAbility to work collaboratively as part of a caring teamA genuine desire to make school a happy and inclusive place for every child If you’ve supported individuals with physical or complex needs — in education, residential, or care settings — your experience will be highly valued in this role.
