Location Manchester, UK Hours: 40 per week (Monday - Thursday / Monday - Friday) The Opportunity We are looking for skilled Avionic Technicians to join our Manchester team. This role offers the chance to work hands-on with commercial aircraft in a modern maintenance environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out avionic maintenance, inspections, and modifications on commercial aircraft. Follow Service Bulletins, AMM, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation. Remove, install, and test shelves, panels, and avionic equipment safely. Install and modify wiring harnesses and systems to technical specifications. Perform wiring terminations including soldering, crimping, and connections, and manufacture looms. Test wiring and avionic systems to verify performance and functionality. Complete accurate documentation and return serviceable/unserviceable items to stores. Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and FOD-free at all times. Work to the highest safety and compliance standards. Shift Pattern Early Shift: 07:00 15:30 (Monday - Friday) Late Shift: 12:30 22:30 (Monday Thursday) Overtime available at standard rate (average working weeks often 50+ hours). About You Completed a formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent training. Minimum of 5 years experience in an aircraft maintenance environment. Recent commercial or military avionics experience. Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Flexible and able to adapt to dynamic working environments.
