Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Inspire students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development Support extracurricular activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, or theatre trips Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and academic progress Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature Experience teaching English up to GCSE level Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills A passion for literature, language, and student achievement A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding Why Work with Monarch Education?
