Egypt Education Platform is inviting applications for the position of Homeroom Teacher - Primary Year 4 to join our dynamic team at one of our schools "GEMS British International School in Madinaty ". We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture our Year 4 students, fostering their academic and social development while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.This job is based in Cairo, Egypt. We're looking to hire foreign educators with experience in teaching British curriculum internationally or in UK. Key Responsibilities:Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that adhere to the British Curriculum for Year 4 students.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and promote individual growth.Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and support to enhance their educational experience.Establish a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and engaging them in the educational process.Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop a cohesive and integrated approach to student learning.Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to continue enhancing instructional practices.Support students' social and emotional development, fostering positive behavior and resilience.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Holds a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or PGCE). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary setting, preferably within the British Curriculum. Strong understanding of child development and pedagogical best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in instructional practices.
